In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember getting my first Casio keyboard as a kid. I didn't know how to play piano and only held as much music theory as any other elementary school kid. But it fit like a glove as I experimented with sounds and ideas that led to writing music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Lady Gaga, Born This Way Special Edition Madonna, Ray of Light Michael Jackson, Thriller This is hard for me as a Gemini to narrow anything down. There are so many albums and artists not listed here that I LOVE. But there's no question Madonna, Lady Gaga, and Michael Jackson are 3 if not the 3 I love most. And these are their best IMHO. Tell us why you chose this song. “Our First Christmas Together” This is very special because it's the first song I wrote for my husband and the first time writing a Christmas song. IMHO, I think I knocked that ball out of the park. I especially love the blend of melancholy and joy that it contains so easily. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Huge was Guest Starring on Law & Order: SVU. The week was warm and supportive, and I had a blast with that character and working with those great actors. In one night, more people saw me act in my network TV debut than all audiences before combined. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Almost the entire bucket list! To tour. To win a Grammy. To collaborate with at least one of my favorite artists. But mostly, to really connect with music lovers by creating an album that soars to the height of our shared imagination and humanity.
