About Jackson Reed and The Silverbirds

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 11 years old and heard Paperback Writer by The Beatles. I wouldn't be on the path I'm on now if I hadn't heard that song. Still one of the coolest sounding guitar riffs of all time in my book. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Born In the U.S.A. Live: London 2013 (Video Album) Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin IV Deluxe Edition The Beatles, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Super Deluxe Edition) 2017 Remix & Remaster Sgt. Pepper- The Beatles were the band that made me take music seriously. Zeppelin IV- Led Zeppelin made me a guitar player, and served as a gateway to more music. Born In the USA- Bruce made me a singer, and became my biggest inspiration. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Dangerous Lover (feat. Kenny Aronoff)” This was the song that set me on my path to combine rock and pop. Not to mention we had Kenny Aronoff on the drums. The guy you hear on Jack and Diane is playing on a song I wrote, that's pretty cool to think about. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Collaborating with Kenny Aronoff was very special. However, starting my podcast Guess That Record has also been super fun. I got to interview Toto's David Paich for an episode. David is the one who sings Africa, and was so awesome to hang out with. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? 1: Sign a record deal. 2: Have a hit song and album 3: Stadium tour 4: Jam with Bruce Springsteen
