In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Being a composer and songwriter is the last thing I would've imagined doing. I couldn't care less about playing the recorder, until I found Buddy Rich in high school. Special shoutout to "Progressive Steps to Syncopation for the Modern Drummer." What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? A. R. Rahman, Rang De Basanti (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Daniel Pemberton, Steve Jobs (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Various Artists, Gangster (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Ironically, my favourite songs cannot be found in these albums. But they perfectly capture the essence and story of their respective films through music alone. And I think that's a feat very few soundtracks can achieve. Tell us why you chose this song. “Jab Se Aya” I think Jab Se Aya is one of the few songs I've composed by pure instinct. Functioning as both a superhero theme and title track, it captures both the personality of the film's protagonist, as well the romantic and haunting atmosphere of the story. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Making the transition from solely being a composer to a film director who composes music for his own stories, starting with my first feature film, Monster, in 2019. But perhaps a better answer would be selling out theatrical releases for my films. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I think I've barely begun or scratched the surface with what I have to share with the world, but designing and opening my own theme park based around my works is at the very top of my bucket list.
