Hilary Kole

About Hilary Kole

The contemporary jazz and cabaret singer Hilary Kole pretty much started at the top. The youngest artist ever to appear at the Rainbow Room, Kole also enjoyed a long run at the Oak Room at the Algonquin and a featured spot in Jonathan Schwartz's "American Songbook Series" at Lincoln Center in 2007. She also produced and performed in two Off-Broadway tribute shows, "Our Sinatra" and "Singing Astaire." As might be guessed from this history, Kole is the most traditionally minded of new singers, but with an intelligent, tart style and a knowing discernment in her choice of material. Her 2009 debut, HAUNTED HEART, was produced by mentor John Pizzarelli and features songs by Bob Dorough, Alec Wilder, and Oscar Brown, Jr., among others.
