Anais Mitchell is one of the best songwriters I've ever heard. Every song is amazing. Tell us why you chose this song. “Spoons” When I first wrote this song it was a bit of throwaway, inspired by a conversation with a close friend. Being able to dive into it more deeply gave it so much more life, and I was able to realise it with some amazing local musicians and friends. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? At the album launch for my album High Hopes, I played with a chamber orchestra of friends: brass, woodwind, strings, as well as guitars, drums and the rest, to a packed out crowd of over 120 people.
