There is little in the known universe quite like Harry Pussy. Essentially a duo featuring husband and wife team of guitarist Bill Orcutt and drummer Adris Hoyos (although later line-ups included at times accordionist Ian Steinberg and guitarists Mark Feehan and Dan Hosker), the band eschewed traditional notions of tonality and structure entirely in favor of a noise both brutal and thrilling in its lack of boundaries. Orcutt's hectic riffs and Hoyos' indelible shriek, the Miami group found favor in '90s noise circles and released a few full-lengths on Siltbreeze before disbanding in 1997.
