About Greg Tudeski

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My father had 2 of the “The Sound Of Silence” from Simon & Garfunkel. So he gave me one when I was 5. I must have listened to that record a million times, over and over. It shaped my love for harmonies. I still rank this one in my top ten. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alanis Morissette, Such Pretty Forks in the Road Brandi Carlile, In These Silent Days Jean-Jacques Goldman, En passant Alanis’ lyrics are perfection. A perfect balance between honest introspection and deep poetry. Brandi’s voice and stage presence is mesmerizing (that crack in her voice!). Jean-Jacques remains my reference for french lyrics Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Cracks (All That You Wanted)” I wrote this song after witnessing friends of mine going through a weird breakup. No screams, no big arguments, but the plain realization that sometimes what you were imaging is not matching with the reality of daily life eroding people. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I have been on stage for over 10 years as a recognized vocal impersonator. I loved singing, I just realized after one show that I was hiding behind other artists’ voices and word because I was scared to be my own, vulnerable self. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? So much. I’ve toured North America and Europe before, but never with my own songs. I dream about playing “Steal Your Soul” with a crowd!
