In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The earliest days of Gnarwhal were spent in a vacant storage locker in an industrial park where we could crank up our amps louder than necessary. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alexisonfire, "Watch Out!" Queens of the Stone Age, Lullabies to Paralyze Refused, The Shape of Punk to Come Queens of the Stone Age are a huge influence. Josh Homme's songwriting and playing is an inspiration. Alexisonfire are a Canadian staple in hard rock. Watch Out! was a keystone album for me. Refused also defined our musical direction. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Outlier” This is the first song we wrote and recorded as a band and is a benchmark for our future releases. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Winning a Best New Single Award for our song, Deep Spaced Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Play larger festivals with bands that have inspired us.
