In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first musical memory is of my mother who has the radio on in the kitchen. I am in the front room riding my tricycle around and around. All of a sudden a record plays that I know and I am still cycling but singing along at the same time. Tell us why you chose this song. “I Get Up” A friend helped set up an exhibition in Brighton to help the homeless and on the wall was a poem that had been put together from videos of some of those people talking about their experiences.
