About Gary Higgins

As a Connecticut-based singer/songwriter in the early 1970s, Gary Higgins played regionally and recorded one independent album, RED HASH, in 1973, but he was jailed on drug charges immediately after its release. When he re-emerged, the album had sunk without a trace, and he left the music business. Over the years, RED HASH became a major collectors' item, and Higgins was “rediscovered.” The album was reissued in 2005, and he began performing for a new generation of fans.
