In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest memories is being mentored by my father K.S. Bhamrah, a prominent figure in the UK Bhangra scene. His guidance introduced me to music, broadened my understanding of various genres & artists which shaped both my fandom & career What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Heera Group, Jagh Wala Mela (feat. Kuljit Bhamra) The New Pardesi Music Machine, Pump Up The Bhangra Viju Shah, Mohra (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) My top three all-time favorite albums are Jagh Wala Mela, which deeply resonated with me during my childhood, Pump Up The Bhangra, which expanded my perception of Bhangra music, and Mohra, a vibrant and exhilarating Bollywood soundtrack Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Pyar De Sahare (My Fave Song On the Album Mix) (My Fave Song On The Album Mix)” This is the firs time I fully wrote, composed and produced a song from start to finish. I fell in love with every aspect of the song that I flew to India to specifically record instruments that I felt I needed in to make this song perfect. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable career moment was my first international tour to Australia, New Zealand, & Singapore in 1997, at the age of 16. The chance to perform alongside Apna Sangeet on stage during that tour will always hold a special place in my heart Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Shin DCS has always been one of my favorite artists, and collaborating with him on stage has been unforgettable. However, producing for him would be a dream come true and remains on my bucket list as an artist.
