Diddy - Dirty Money

About Diddy - Dirty Money

Blending R&B and hip-hop, Diddy - Dirty Money was a short-lived collaboration between rapper and music mogul Diddy and the duo Dirty Money, featuring Dawn Richard (formerly of Danity Kane) and Kalenna Harper. • The group’s sole LP, 2010’s Last Train to Paris, is a concept album detailing both sides of a love story as Diddy’s alter ego travels from London for romance. Diddy enlisted Richard and Harper—both signed to his Bad Boy label—to accompany him on the album. • Last Train to Paris was influenced by Diddy’s experience in the European dance scene. The LP features more club beats than his previous solo work. • Despite receiving positive reviews and boasting a star-studded list of features including Drake, Justin Timberlake, and Grace Jones—plus a cameo from Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour— was Diddy’s lowest-charting album to that point. • Dirty Money formally disbanded in 2012.
