About Cory Marks

Although he began on the drums at age 10, Canadian country-rock singer Cory Marks grew up playing competitive hockey. ∙ His first public performance took place while he was attending university and some friends pressured him to get onstage at a local bar. ∙ In 2016, Marks began working with celebrated producer and fellow Canadian Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osbourne, Shania Twain, Five Finger Death Punch). ∙ He debuted on the Billboard charts in 2019 with “Outlaws & Outsiders,” which featured country legend Travis Tritt, Mötley Crüe guitarist Mick Mars, and Five Finger Death Punch frontman Ivan Moody. ∙ “Drive,” a track from his 2020 album, Who I Am, was written on an airplane napkin while Marks was flying home from a video shoot.
