Bob Alexander

About Bob Alexander

This late-'50s rockabilly artist is so obscure that nobody seems to even know the name of the B-side of his one single release, "Treehouse," indicating that even normally careful record collectors left their precious copies laying on a wet counter, A-side up. "Treehouse" came out on the V label in 1959. Bob Alexander & the Coaxials was the full artist credit, a name that surely would have created more demand for the combo a few decades later when cable television came along. ~ Eugene Chadbourne
