I remember trying to put on side B of the Beatles' Abbey Road LP when I was maybe 6, and then scratching the whole side really badly with the needle because I didn't know how to use the record player. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Don Cherry, Don Cherry Ellen Fullman, The Long String Instrument Yo La Tengo, Electr-O-Pura These are all records that I heard that sparked a change in my relation to particular aspects of music, either towards an instrument, a sound, a way of playing, or a way of recording. Tell us why you chose this song. “Lattice” This track was one of the first recordings where I started working with the zithers I was building in the studio, and it opened up a lot of new ideas for me in how I could play and use the recording process.
