In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was about 9 years old, my older brother and sister both quit piano lessons. I was going to quit in solidarity, and my mom talked me out of it. She said that when I got older, I would be happy I kept taking lessons. She was right! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Mouse Waltz in A Minor, Op. 5” This is the first classical piece I wrote starting with a title. That tiny mouse is scurrying about the kitchen, the basement, and the attic, and I can't catch it! I love how it is incredibly simple, a great challenge to play, and fun to listen to.
