Afgansyah “Afgan” Reza has come a long way since he was unexpectedly offered a recording contract in his teens. After a random session in a Jakarta recording studio with his friends back in 2007, label reps saw potential and later gave him the contract that would lead to the bespectacled Jakartan becoming one of the most recognised male voices in Indonesian music. With his silky-smooth vocals, clean-cut looks and lyrical talent to boot, Afgan has carved out a path that has led to multiple chart-topping singles, hit albums, and a growing film career.
