Ten$Ion

Ten$Ion

South African provocateurs Die Antwoord inject their brash, crass rap-rave with a dose of sex, drugs, and murder on 2012's Ten$Ion. Opening with moody symphonic strings, it starts innocuously with "Never Le Nkemise 1," before Ninja launches his first of many brutal attacks over chainsaw synths and relentlessly hammering beats. Partner-in-crime Yolandi Visser is just as fierce, giving her own filthy, feverish raps some coy, Britney Spears-esque sass on catchy bangers like "I Fink U Freeky" and "Baby's on Fire."
