"Masterfully mixes jazz and pop"

Laila Biali's new album is excellent, and reviewers on both sides of the Atlantic agree. Her vocals, her piano playing, her songwriting skills, the production, the musicians Laila and her co-producer husband Ben Wittman assembled, her arrangements re-invigorating three cover songs -- all superb, all creating a fresh, addictive pop/jazz sound.

Be sure to check out her videos from the album for the catchy original "Got To Love", and a raw acoustic one-take of Coldplay's "Yellow.”

Laila's supporting musicians include some of the greatest jazz players in North America, like Snarky Puppy members Larnell Lewis (drums) and Mike Maher (trumpet); organist Sam Yahel; trumpeter Ambrose Akinmusire; and bassist George Koller. She also teams up with A-class session players from the pop world, like drummer/percussionist Ben Wittman (Sting, Paul Simon); vocalists Lisa Fischer (Rolling Stones, Sting, Luther Vandross); Jo Lawry (Sting, Paul Simon, Peter Gabriel); Carlos Ricketts (John Mayer, Adele, U2); and organist Glenn Patscha (Sheryl Crow, Marc Cohn).
