Luke warm, but sadly . . . . . . NOT HOT
We're extremely disappointed . . . . . Where are the songs that people will remember? Where are the vocal performances that show her vocal capabilities and talent? A better title for this medley of mediocrity would be "All B Sides" or "Mundane Music for Minivan Kids"
While her loyal adolescent disciples will probably take this project to "Gold" or "Platinum" status, those of higher musical intelligence can only hope that before her next project Jessica will wake up and realize that its sometimes wiser if you don't write (or co-write) your repertoire. BETTER material, and songs that showcase your strong talent would secure a place among the REAL singers of today. The material on PUBLIC AFFAIR would have been better kept PRIVATE.
Wake up Jess! You are more capable and so much better than your sister and her contrived personna. Next time, wait for the right songs, and stop throwing this "filler" at your fans. Particularly those that know music and whose parents don't finance their music library.
Christina is performing with Herbie Hancock, and you're spinning your artistic wheels.
And PLEASE . . . . . No "Dukes Of Hazzard 2"
O K Kids . . . . . Your rebuttals please. (Look it up!)
Jessica's Best Album Yet
This is Jessica's best album yet. She has included ballad type songs that she is so well known for along with upbeat songs, a couple of country type songs, and a wonderful 80's remake of You Spin Me Round. There is a little something for everyone on this album.
A Public Disgrace!
I can't even believe people call this art. A bunch of synthesizers, computerized beats and a tone-deaf chicken of the sea.
