While countless punk bands have burned bright and faded out, Galician underdogs Siniestro Total have been creating their brand of witty, erratic rock since 1981. The band's catalogue, which includes more than a dozen studio releases, also touches on garage, blues, rock ‘n' roll and even honky-tonk country. The whole package is cast in the context of oddball lyrics and local Spanish references, making for a wholly unique musical act. The only remaining original Siniestro Total member is singer Julián Hernández, who's still flying the flag for first-wave punk.
