About Uncle Lee

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My Grandmother's apartment in Washington Heights was always full of music. There were records of all kinds and my Aunt loved the Beatles. Grandma played her spinet and made my mom and aunt learn when they were kids. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Frank Zappa, Zappa In New York (Live / 40th Anniversary / Deluxe Edition) Run-DMC, Run-D.M.C. The Beatles, Abbey Road (Super Deluxe Edition) 2019 Remix & Remaster This is a hard one. I have eclectic tastes. Pick 3? I guess this shows my dork dad cred. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “S.S. #177: Imagine (Live)” Played as a solo instrumental piano, the missing melody gives the listener a space to "imagine" John's voice for themselves. Originally performed live in 1994, the album has never been released until now. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Uncle Lee doesn't want to talk about the before times. I had cred. In The Now Times I play piano, harmonica, cook, do photography, and a little spoken word. I am a high level dork dad and your favorite Uncle. Would you like to hear a story? Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I support UNICEF with my music. IRL I have enough. I'm semi-retired and just keep making creative stuff for no good reason. I'd like for people to enjoy it.
