Cuban-born singer Malu Trevejo was born Maria Luisa Trevejo in 2002. She began her career around age 13 as a social media personality, posting photos and videos across a wide variety of platforms, eventually gathering millions of followers. As her fame grew, she moved from posting videos of herself dancing and lip-syncing to working on music of her own. In 2017 Trevejo signed to Universal Music Group and released her debut single, "Luna Llena," a bilingual dance-pop number with an accompanying video that was viewed over 20 million times within the first month alone. ~ Fred Thomas
