About Haiku Salut

An instrumental electronic, post-rock, folk, and dream pop trio, Derbyshire's Haiku Salut emerged in 2010 with a sound that looks to the neo-classical style of artists such as Mum, Yann Tiersen, and Benoît Charest, and the impressionistic writing of Haruki Murakami for inspiration. Debuting in 2013 with the evocative Tricolore, the band's subsequent efforts like Etch and Etch Deep (2015), There Is No Elsewhere (2018), The General (2019), and The Hill, The Light, The Ghost (2021) continued to build richly detailed cinematic vistas using both organic and electronic instrumentation.
