In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I used to sneak up on my older brother Louis while he was playing guitar in his room. Sitting on the edge of his bed with a Les Paul and a few Boss pedals he sounded like a rock star to me. I wanted to be just like him. He was my first guitar hero. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Screaming Headless Torsos, Screaming Headless Torsos Wayne Krantz, Two Drink Minimum Yes, Fragile These records (among many others) shaped how & why I compose and play music the way I do. All three feature players I deeply admire as well as sounds and grooves I live by. I've spent my musical life studying and celebrating them. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When I was with Karsh Kale we played the Hollywood Bowl to a sold out crowd. The sound was beautifully enormous. To play on the same stage as so many timeless artists was unforgettable as well as life-changing. As a bonus, Flea was in the first row! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Before I put away my picks & pedals and hang up my guitars I'd like to play Madison Square Garden, Red Rocks and Ronnie Scott's. I'd also take one sideman gig with Helmet and Foo Fighters. Lastly, I'd like to sing to my wife just once.
