In the artist’s words: What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Developing a strong connection with my uncle, Hernán Marín -my musical mentor and lifelong favorite artist- and experiencing his deep love and understanding of our culture and the ancestral music of eastern Venezuela. Recording a duo with him. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I feel a responsibility to always promote and document the musical traditions of our people, and fight to keep our traditions accessible to generations, in a similar way Hernán Marín has done it throughout his life and career as a traditional singer.
