After an impressive stint as the lead singer of pop-rap group 5sta Family, Yulianna Karaulova reached new heights when she launched her solo career in 2015. Expanding on her Golden Gramophone award-winning output with the band, she ventured into virbant electro-pop and sensuous, slow-swaying R&B in two ambitious albums. Her collaboration with battle rapper ST produced a high-contrast, summery dance anthem, while another notable collab included hip-hop groups Marsel and Krec, with whom she sang a melancholy urban ode to St. Peterburg, featured in the soundtrack for hit comedy “Odindenleta”.
