In many ways, Sydney singer-songwriter Matt Corby has grown up in public. From his first performances as a teen with vocal group Iron and Clay to his 2011 hit single “Brother” and triumphant 2016 debut album, Telluric, Corby's songwriting has evolved under the watchful eye of his dedicated fan base. Though 2009's Song For… EP focused on folk, by Telluric he was playing with gospel and neo-soul (“Monday”), lounge-cool and psychedelia (“Sooth Lady Wine”), and earthy pop (“Knife Edge”).
