Hatebreed Essentials

Hatebreed Essentials

Your typical Hatebreed song is as loud, aggressive and utterly terrifying as a pack of wild dogs smelling blood. Emerging in the mid-'90s, when the lines between heavy metal and hardcore were fuzzy at best, the bruisers unleashed a blend of NYHC-inspired barking, street punk beat-downs and chugging riffage that went a long way toward establishing metalcore as a genre unto itself. Growing only more brutal, Hatebreed are a violent rebuke to the notion that people mellow with age; nearly every album post-2005 is blitzing extreme metal, like Pantera on steroids.
