Ariel Rot's career began in the late ‘70s, but he shot to international fame after co-leading Spanish fusion rockers Los Rodríguez in the early ‘90s. Throughout his musical journey the Argentinian guitarist has been deeply influenced by jangle pop, classic rock ‘n' roll and blues (namely the Keith Richards sound)—but his solo catalogue explores other textures, further enhanced by deeply personal lyrics, remarkable vocal melodies and imaginative guitar work.
