Akvarium: Influences

While experimenting with their sound in the course of more than four decades, Saint Petersburg-bred rock outfit Akvarium have embraced such Russian music favourites as bard Bulat Okudzhava and blues rockers Mashina Vremeni as inspiration. This list also points to David Bowie's heroic Berlin phase, T. Rex's eccentric psych-folk and System of a Down's mathy nu-metal.
