Although this duo are sometimes thought of as a British act, according to the liner notes to the box set The Rubble Collection, Volumes 11-20, they were Canadian. This box includes both sides of their sole single, "Doctor Gentle"/"She's Alright," originally issued in 1967. Both tracks are period rock songs with mild mod and psychedelic touches and little to distinguish them, though "Doctor Gentle" has a trace of the Kinks' sardonicism. ~ Richie Unterberger
