My uncle was a music journalist as a student and he got a copy of almost every record released by a local artist or Record Label in South Africa. Adele, 30 Oluwaseyi Jolaoso, Mr. Money With the Vibes - EP Riky Rick, Family Values Asake- Mr Money With The vibe I recently discovered Asake and I cannot get enough of his vibe and the way he is incorporating so many different African genres in his music. 30 Adele It’s my go to “in my feels” album Family Values -Legendary Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Deeper” It was my breakout single. That song changed my life. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being the first woman in 20 years to win the South African Music Award for song of the year. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Too many to mention. Surely your bucket list should be updated constantly. We should always be shape shifting and evolving as artists.
