São Paulo's Marcelo Jeneci is a singer/songwriter whose disparate styles and influences interweave with ease. However, to ignore his understated prowess would be doing him a disservice. He mixes pure melodies and skilful arrangements in the mellifluous weave of vocal harmonies and accordion on "Pra Sonhar", which is underscored by a gentle guitar riff. Other works display a bluesy bass guitar shepherded languor, for example, in "Dar-Te-Ei", and his collaboration with Daniel Drexler, "Al Menos un Segundo", is suffused with skronking brass.
