The Nigerian DJ and producer DJ Tunez has been a staple of Starboy Entertainment—the label collective owned by Afropop star Wizkid—since 2015. His unique mixture of jazzy production, sticky beats and delectable Afropop drums has been employed by a large number of African acts, including Olamide (“Require”), Wande Coal (“Iskaba”), Alpha P (“Paloma”), Adekunle Gold and Omah Lay (“PAMI”) and even South African singer Busiswa (“Lucky Star”).
