About Turtle Creek Chorale

The Turtle Creek Chorale (TCC) are a Dallas-based male chorus under the direction of Dr. Timothy Seelig. Membership in the TCC includes over 200 singing members. The repertoire of TCC can best be described as eclectic, drawing on everything from Bach to Broadway and both sacred and secular works. In 1993, TCC made their Carnegie Hall debut. They have also been the focus of the PBS special After Goodbye: An AIDS Story, chronicling the stages of loss and grief recovery from AIDS by looking at the impact of the disease on the members, families, and friends of the TCC. (The choir has lost 60 members during the past ten years.) Among other luminaries, the TCC have performed for Texas governor Ann Richards and the Queen of England. This chorale, with their four albums, presents very intelligent song cycle selections. ~ Will Grega
