I was jumping around like a maniac while my parents sat on the couch. I don't dance so much these days... What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Amy Winehouse, Back to Black Arctic Monkeys, Suck It and See The Strokes, Is This It Hearing Rehab on the radio for the first time was a primer to prepare me for the early bubble gum pop and old-school RnB that would come to be some of my favourite music. It was one of the first times that I would hear such blunt lyricism. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “These Arms of Mine” She was nervous but I actually convinced my mom to sing on this song with me - and I am very happy she did! Her last studio recording was in high school and now more than 30 years later I have a wonderful keepsake of her still extraordinary voice. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? You're playing at a loud and rowdy bar in Montreal - the people are here to party. Many of them are tourists. You pull out one of your saddest songs and slowly the bar quiets down into silence. Nobody came here to try tonight but it happened anyways. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd be more than happy to play a sold-out show at the Aeolian in my hometown - but if we're talking bucket list? Get me a show in Berlin and a tour in Europe! Get me a collab with Bahamas and Andy Shauf too. That's only the beginning...
