In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a young boy the first guitar concert I ever saw was by the legend Paco de Lucia. The experience stayed with me because even though he was perhaps the most virtuoso player I have ever seen, on stage with his dancers his playing served the whole. Tell us why you chose this song. “Rene's Arc” This dark and slow-moving piece of music is finally brought to a harmonius conclusion by some upbeat, sparkly elements. This sounds like a rainbow to me, and hence it is named after René Descartes who first described the beautiful phenomenon in 1637. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I only broke a string on stage once, in Austin Texas. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes, there is a list of great concert halls around the world that I haven't yet played and would love to.
