About Luke & The Apostles
Luke Gibson, Peter Jermyn, Jim Jones, Pat Little and Mike McKenna formed Luke & the Apostles in the mid-'60s. After success in small clubs and coffeehouses, the band released one single, "Been Burnt," but broke up soon after. Gibson then joined Kensington Market, while McKenna joined the Ugly Ducklings and later McKenna Mendelson Mainline. Little joined Transfusion, which became Crazy Horse. Luke & the Apostles re-formed in 1970, recording one popular single; they broke up for the second time later that year. ~ John Bush
