A full-service recording studio in East Peoria, Illinois that specializes in a variety of services, including music, short films, photography, music videos, and design, Green Shoe Studio went viral in 2013 with the song "Oh Sweet Lorraine," which was written by then 96-year-old, first-time songwriter Fred Stobaugh, in honor of his then recently deceased wife of 75 years, Lorraine. Stobaugh sent the song to Green Shoe as part of the studio's singer/songwriter contest, and producer/singer/songwriter Jacob Colgan was so moved by the lyrics, that he wrote music for and recorded the song, which eventually cracked the Billboard Hot 100. ~ James Christopher Monger
