About Gary Peacock
In the course of more than five decades, bassist Gary Peacock has explored many sides of jazz. In the 1960s he was involved in the avant-garde scene as well as with such musicians as Bill Evans and Miles Davis. He later recorded albums as a leader and began his long association with pianist Keith Jarrett and the "Standards" trio, which is among the great piano trios and for which Peacock is perhaps best known. ~ Rovi Staff
