Eric Chenaux is a guitarist, songwriter, and sound sculptor based in South Central France after spending years as a key figure in Toronto's improv and indie music scenes. He has worked as both a bandleader and a sideman in a wide variety of settings, from experimental and modern classical composition to jazz, country, and folk. Chenaux is active in many bands at once, either as a performer or as a composer and arranger, and his solo work, like 2022's Say Laura LP, finds him exploring the pleasant clash of mangled guitar tones and softly crooned vocals.
