Duncan Forbes

About Duncan Forbes

As one-half of progressive house outfit Spooky, Duncan Forbes has been instrumental in the progression of British dance music from the early 1990s. Creating a buzz with partner Charlie May, Spooky's progressive take on house and techno became a mainstay of the underground U.K. club scene, with tracks such as "Don't Panic" and "Schmoo" becoming dancefloor favorites. Outside of his work with Spooky, Forbes delved into scoring, collaborating with Lol Hammond as well as remixing and co-producing with the likes of Sasha. He eventually branched out with his own productions including 2020's "Strobe Dancer" and a string of EPs titled 49North.
