Like his iconic brother, Andrés, this singer/songwriter and guitarist is instantly recognisable. From deep in his diaphragm a rough-hewn voice bellows forth, commanding attention. Raised on a diet of blues-based rock, he made his mark in the '80s and ‘90s playing with El Corte and Los Guarros before going solo in 1998. Since then he has expanded his musical idiom to include folkloric jaunts into his native tango and Mexican ranchera.
