From the depths of the South London underground come the uncompromising grime clique 67. Since forming in 2014, the six-piece squad have taken the trap-influenced beats of Chicago drill and added their own local flavour, cutting a barbed, threatening sound built on rugged drum loops, booming basslines and murky flows. The sinister keyboards and ghostly synths that haunt the likes of “5am Vamping” and “Let's Lurk” encapsulate their menacing manifesto, as the group spit violent rhymes shot through with their thick hometown cadence. It adds up to a London horror movie you can't turn away from.
