The self-proclaimed "King of Christian R&B," Jor'dan Armstrong is a contemporary gospel artist whose sound is in line with commercial R&B. The Baton Rouge native entered the music industry in a behind-the-scenes capacity as a writer of secular material. Since 2009, he's been building a discography that contains the Billboard-charting releases Confident (2016) and Blsd (2018), followed by Church Girls Love R&B (2022), a relationship-themed album issued after the stand-alone single "My God" topped the Gospel Airplay Chart. Some of Armstrong's output, such as "Another Blessing" (2024), is self-produced.
