Cast in the popular anime K-On! in 2009, Ayana Taketatsu first hit the charts as part of the fictional band Ho-kago Tea Time. In 2013 she graduated to releasing her solo debut—Apple Symphony—pouring her sugar-sweet vocals into delightfully melodic and bouncy J-pop that was all her own. Continuing with a winning formula, her follow-up in 2014, Colore Serenata, proved she meant business.
