Following several successful singles written for anime films, GRANRODEO—made up of the strong vocals of Kishow and the powerful guitar work of E-Zuka—decided to collect their work under the umbrella of 2007 debut album Ride on the Edge. Their energetic, fast-paced songs are built around monster riffs and melodic, virtuoso guitar solos They may be heavily influenced by punk, rockabilly and the spirit of pure, unadulterated rock ‘n' roll, but they increasingly incorporate ‘80s electronic dance influences as they broaden their horizons for more sci-fi soundtrack work.
