Joe Boyd: The Producers

American expat Joe Boyd got his start in London's progressive folk and rock scene in 1966, with tracks by Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd and The Incredible String Band. By the time he started his Witchseason production company, he was the king of British folk-rock, helming classic albums by Nick Drake, John Martyn and Fairport Convention. In later years, he worked with acts like R.E.M. and Billy Bragg.
