Electric Six Essentials

Electric Six Essentials

Frontman Dick Valentine formed Detroit's Electric Six in 1996 and the band came of age in the booming Detroit rock scene of the late '90s. Although Electric Six's occasionally kinetic beats and tongue-in-cheek stance set them apart, fellow rockers embraced them—and Motor City luminary Jack White cameoed on their debut album, 2003's Fire. That album spawned several surprise hits, particularly in the UK. After 12 albums, they continue to tour and record prolifically, enjoying the attention of their enduring cult fanbase.
